Visit the Cradle of Humankind
The Cradle of Humankind was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. It is situated about 50 kilometres northwest of Johannesburg. This is home to 40% of the world’s known human ancestor fossils and contains a well preserved record of the stages of evolution of humankind over the past 4 million years. This is certainly worth a visit.
