Friday 12th of May was National Slipper Day but here, at Wits Language School, we decided to go “the whole hog” and we made it Pyjama Day! Students and teachers in the EFL department paid R10 each for the privilege of coming to school in their pyjamas. The money all went towards Reach for a Dream, a charity that grants wishes to children and young adults fighting life-threatening illnesses. We collected a grand total of R1000.00 and big thanks to teacher Danielle for coordinating the day. As you can see from the picture, “onesies” were the popular choice for the day!
