  • ensure that all assessments and placement tests are fair and accurate
  • not provide any false information when advertising our courses
  • not misrepresent other language schools in order to attract students to Wits
  • follow South African and international laws when conducting business.

Our priority is the welfare of our students – we want you to know that you are in good hands!

I graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1999, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Performer’s Diploma in Speech and Drama. I began my teaching career in 2000 in Cape Town, before going abroad to further my experience. I spent two years teaching in London, where I prepared students for Cambridge First, Advanced and Proficiency examinations. I also taught business and medical English during this time.

I then spent three years in South Korea, and there I gained experience teaching children of all ages, as well as university students and business people. I returned to South Africa late in 2007, and I have been a staff member at Wits Language School since 2008.

My roles include teaching general English to intermediate, upper-intermediate and advanced level students, as well as preparing students for IELTS examinations.

I received my BA degree in English and French literature from UNISA in 2007, and went on to complete the TESOL course at Wits.

In 2011 I did an online Language Awareness Course through International House World Office. I have been teaching EFL students of various levels in South Africa for the past three years.

In my free time I enjoy reading and writing, hiking and playing squash.
