Wits Language School offers full translation services and interpreting services in 20 international and local languages. We work with a network of highly qualified translators and interpreters to cater for all your professional language needs.
We cover general, financial, legal (sworn) and technical translation, as well as software and website translation and can assist you with providing interpreters for multilingual seminars and conferences (simultaneous and consecutive interpreting). We also cater specifically for editing and proofreading in English (business, academic and technical writing). All of our translators, interpreters and editors have extensive experience and are subject to rigorous quality control procedures. We make sure that the right person is sourced for the job – from a financial or legal translator to a business writer!
Quality translation and interpreting services are offered in the following languages:
Be wary of free translation services. If you want a professional translation then you need an experienced translator skilled in the language to proofread the translation and make sure that it is translated accurately, that the correct grammar has been used and that wording appropriate to that language has been selected.
If you want a professional interpretation then you need an experienced interpreter skilled in the language to ensure that your multilingual business meeting or conference go smoothly. You wouldn’t want to lose that deal because your language facilitator doesn’t know the correct terminology and doesn’t know how to negotiate or facilitate communication in another language!
Wits Language School provides accurate and professional language services at affordable rates.
Wits Language School offers high quality confidential editing, proofreading, formatting, and writing services for academic articles, books, dissertations, business reports, technical reports and other academic documentation. We can assist you with all facets of editing, including grammar, structure, layout, research citation and other aspects of academic discourse.
As every higher degrees student knows, writing a good dissertation is only partly about the research itself. A great deal depends on the way in which the research is presented – is the argumentation clear, logical and consistent? Are the findings presented in an academically acceptable way? Are the referencing and layout correct?
The principles of good writing remain the same, regardless of whether you're working at masters or doctoral level, writing a business report or writing an academic article. The ideas, research and evidence may all be good but, unless you get them across effectively to your reader, you will not have succeeded in your goal.
That is why, after you've edited your own work, you may want to consider sending your final draft to a professional editor who understands research documents. A dissertation that has been professionally edited contains far fewer mistakes, makes a professional impression, and earns higher marks.
This is where Wits Language School’s academic editors come in. If you want the highest possible mark for your work, if your home language is not English, or if formal academic or business writing is not your strength, professional editing is the way to go.
