English Language Teachers

Wits Language School invites applications from suitably qualified candidates as sessional language facilitators.

The English Improvement courses offered by Wits Language School in Johannesburg South Africa, have been designed with South African needs in mind. They are aimed at adults who want to improve their English Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing, with the main focus on reading and writing skills. 

Language Qualifications

• Must have excellent English language proficiency.
• Must have teaching experience.
• Must have a degree and/or a post graduate qualification in applied linguistics or associated discipline. 
• CELTA or TESOL qualification an advantage. 

Other Requirements

• Availability to work in the evenings and on Saturday mornings.
• Own transport.

Remuneration

• Hourly rate commensurate with class size.
