Wits Language School is a vibrant and growing area of the prestigious Wits University. The school has 4 main language areas that are always looking for full-time and sessional teachers. The school was established in 1997 in response to a growing need to provide part-time language training to adults.

The school has grown and now offers part-time tuition in over 15 languages as well as a full time English as a Foreign Language programme. Due to the demand from private companies and government organisations, the school also offers Corporate Language courses designed around an organisation’s specific needs.

Language Teaching Jobs

The language school is always looking for teachers in the following language areas:

	The Language Teacher Education department (LTE) offers courses to develop language teaching skills. The main courses are teaching english to speakers of other languages (TESOL), teaching english to young learners (TEYL) and teaching business english (TBE).
